Our Commitment
At Expense To Profit Inc., we are dedicated to positively impacting our communities. Through our Impact Fund initiative, we allocate 5% of the revenue we receive from our clients to charitable donations. As part of this commitment, we allow our valued clients to direct these contributions to eligible non-profit organizations of their choice.
Qualifying Organization Requirements
To ensure that our donations create a meaningful impact and comply with applicable regulations, all client-directed contributions must meet the following criteria:
1. Legal Status and Registration
- Must be a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the IRS or an equivalent designation in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Must have current and valid registration with appropriate state agencies.
- Must have verifiable legal standing and accurate registration information.
2. Operational History and Viability
- Must have operated as a 501(c)(3) for at least one year.
- Must be able to provide documentation of organizational activities and impact.
- Must demonstrate financial viability through appropriate documentation.
3. Transparency and Accountability
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date information with regulatory bodies.
- Must possess a verifiable physical address and contact information.
- Must be prepared to provide documentation on how donations will be used.
4. Alignment with Our Values
- Must adhere to our company’s core values and ethical standards.
- Must not participate in discriminatory practices or activities.
- Donations must be used for legitimate charitable purposes.
Donation Process
- Client Nomination: Clients can nominate a charitable organization to receive their share of our Impact Fund.
- Due Diligence Review: Our team will perform a comprehensive evaluation of the nominated organizations to ensure their compliance with our established requirements.
- Confirmation or Alternative Suggestion: We will verify eligible organizations or reach out to clients to propose alternatives if their chosen organization does not qualify.
- Default Option: If a client chooses not to nominate an organization, we will allocate their charitable portion to one of our pre-approved philanthropic partners.
Documentation Requirements
Organizations may be asked to provide the following documentation as part of our review process:
- Proof of non-profit status (IRS 501(c)(3) determination letter or its equivalent).
- Current registration with the appropriate state agencies.
- Annual report or activity statement.
- Financial statements or IRS Form 990.
- Mission Statement and Program Descriptions.
